This is an integrated cell for 5-Axis production laser cutting and welding applications. The cell was put into service in 1998 dedicated to a specific program. We were a Tier 2 supplier of two different laser cut transmission hard bands with the end user being Chrysler. At the peak of the program we were supplying in excess of 5,000 parts per day combined. The cell in its current configuration was capable of supplying 120 pieces per hour on each laser, 240 per hour from the cell.
